We wanted a porcelain lamp with delicate gaps running through it. Fracta, Latin for "broken," evokes the fractured surface of the ground, translated into light.

Porcelain doesn't forgive mistakes. Too wet, and the form collapses under its own weight. Too dry, and it cracks before it ever sees the kiln. Getting it right meant finding that narrow window where the clay could hold its shape through printing, drying, and firing, without losing the fine cracks that make it Fracta.

The payoff is in the material itself: printed in extra translucent porcelain, the entire lamp glows from within once lit, turning those fractures into soft, immersive light
