We do computational ceramics on custom commissions. Bespoke objects, made for you. Your own geometry, printed in clay.

Commission 01

Designed with you.

A commission starts from a place and a constraint — a wall, a counter, a table, a room — and ends in a fired object made for that setting and no other. We develop the geometry as a rule rather than a shape, resolve it against how clay actually behaves in the fire, and produce it in our studio in Gràcia. Every piece is glazed by hand, so an edition holds together without any two being identical.

Editions of twenty-five or fewer.

Commission 02

Made from your design

Studios come to us with a geometry already resolved and no way to build it in clay. We take the file through preparation, print strategy, drying, firing and finish, including slip-cast production from custom plaster moulds where the form calls for it.

Because the design work and the production happen in the same room, we know early what a geometry will do in the fire: where it will slump, where it will crack, what it costs to make it survive. You get that read within forty-eight hours of sending a model, before anything is committed.

Scale is assessed per project. Send a 3D model and we will tell you whether it is viable.

Process

A conversation about the piece, the place and what it has to do.

Written within two working days.

The first thing we make is a single prototype, quoted on its own. It proves the geometry in the fire and sets the standard for everything that follows. Nothing goes into production until you've signed it off.

From four weeks, depending on edition size. Every piece is checked against the approved prototype before it leaves the studio, then packed and shipped from Barcelona.

Let's build something.

If what you've seen here resonates with what you're looking to create, let's talk.
